Stop being okay with things you really are not okay with. Stop associating being a good person with how much you're willing to suffer in silence. You can be a kind person and still say "I'm not okay with this." Being kind is not about being the human equivalent of a doormat.

Loving from a distance allows you to protect yourself while still wishing them the best. It provides an opportunity for personal growth, healing, and cultivating healthier relationships.
It's okay if you thought you were over it, but it hits you all over again. It's okay to fall apart even if you thought you had it under control. You're not weak.
